Who we are
CubbyFront ("CubbyFront", "we") provides front-office software to licensed childcare centers. Our customers are centers; the center is the data controller for the information it enters about children, families and staff. We process that information on the center's behalf.
Children's information
Centers record information about children in their care — names, dates of birth, attendance, daily activity, photos, health and emergency details, and forms signed by parents. We do not collect information from children directly, do not market to children, and use children's information only to provide the service to the center and the parents the center connects. Parents see only their own children.
What we collect from you
Account details (name, email, password or sign-in provider), the information you enter, technical logs (IP address, device, time) needed for security and to record electronic signatures, and billing information handled by our payment processor, Dodo Payments; we never see card numbers.
How we use it
To run the product, send the emails you ask for (daily reports, invites, reminders, incident notices), keep the service secure, and support you. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Where it lives
Data is stored in the United States on Supabase (Postgres and object storage) with row-level security separating each center. Photos are private and served through expiring links. Email is sent through Zoho ZeptoMail. The application runs on Vercel.
Retention and deletion
Centers can export their data as CSV and delete records at any time. Photo history is kept according to the center's plan (90 days, 2 years, or 5 years). When a center closes its account we delete its data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or billing reasons.
Your rights
Parents: ask your center, or email us, to access or correct information about your child. Centers: you control your data; email us for a full export or deletion. Californian and other state rights are honored as described here.
